How long does a brow tattoo last?

Brows gently fade down over 1-3 years before a colour boost is needed. The longevity is dependant on skin type, active lifestyle and age. The older or dryer the skin is, generally the longer it will last.

I am a fan of a more subtle result, preferring natural and slightly curved over a straight block stencil look. Colors are customised for your skin and hair tone.

Two appointments

Permanent Makeup is always a TWO Step process, due to an individual healed result. It's very important to complete both sessions to achieve a perfect outcome and build the color whilst being gentle on the skin.

These appointments will need to be spaced 5 - 8 weeks apart depending on your skin type and age. Typically the second session is called a ‘touch-up’ but can be of a similar duration to the first depending on how well aftercare instructions are followed.

Combination Eyebrow Tattoo Christchurch

Cosmetic Tattoo Christchurch has expanded it’s services to include the very latest Nano Hairstroke eyebrow technique. Hairstrokes are super realistic and a very natural form of eyebrow tattoo, still rare in Christchurch. These are far superior and less traumatic than the dated style of ‘microblading’. They work on almost all skin types and ages.

Combination brows are a mixture of nano-hairstrokes and shading throughout the brow. We generally do nano-hairstrokes through the beginning/head of the brows to create the soft illusion of fluffy hairs, and through the body and tail of the brow, is shaded to create more depth. We advise to book in for combination brows if you are unsure which style is best suited to you.

Color refresh

18-36 month colour refreshes are recommended to keep your brow tattoo looking it’s best all year round. This service is only available for clients who have previously had their brows done with Bridget Baldwin. I can also do color corrections on very faded existing work.
