How long does a lip tattoo last?
Watercolor lip effect lasts from 1.5 to 4 years as a broad generalisation.
The duration of your cosmetic tattoo is hugely individual. Age, skin type and amount of exercise all affect longevity.
I am a fan of a subtle result, preferring the natural watercolor technique over a heavily worked lipstick look. Healthy, warm colors are usually more flattering. Bring in a gloss or lip shade you love.
Two appointments
Permanent Makeup is always a TWO Step process, due to the individuals healed result. It's very important to complete both sessions to achieve a perfect outcome.
These appointments will need to be spaced 5 - 8 weeks apart depending on your skin type and age. Typically the second session is called a ‘touch-up’ but can be of a similar duration to the first.

Fillers and Botox
Please leave at least 2 weeks after injector appointments.
These procedures can affect the symmetry of your tattoo due to swelling and bruising during the healing process. Needle trauma can make you more prone to infection so it is important to heal from one procedure at a time.
Coverup, and dark lip multi tonal balancing.
I can not guarantee any results for coverup work by another artist.
If the previous tattoo is too dark, too large or has discolored, tattoo removal is recommended before booking an appointment for a new cosmetic tattoo.
Achieving the best looking results is always my aim.
‘Dark lip neutralisation’ is something I am not currently undertaking.
Photos shown here, are examples of two toned lips that need neutralisation (not my clients) due to being melanin rich. These require three sessions, and longer healing times.
